Beatrice Beady Eileen Carver, 82, of Great Falls, a retired telephone operator, died on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at a local care facility of natural causes.Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Inurnment to follow at Mount Olivet Columbarium. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Beatrice Beady Eileen Carver was born April 24th, 1929 to Helen (Fetsko) and Thomas Holman in Great Falls, MT. She was the third of four daughters and was her father's Pal .Beadyattended Great Falls High School, and was then employed as a switchboard operator at the telephone company, a job she thoroughly enjoyed. She met the love of her life, Billy Carver, and they married onOctober 7th, 1949.They were blessed with four children, 13 grandchildren and 6 andgreat-grandchildren.Beadyquit working when her and Bill started a family and she became a stay-at-home mom.The family spent time camping, fishing, and boating while the kids were growing up. Sheworked at the It'll Do Bar for a timecalling Keno, and laterbabysat one of her granddaughters, which she thoroughly enjoyed doing. Beady and Bill enjoyed spending theirlater yearstogether with family, going on drives,and eating out. After Bill passed away, she enjoyed family outings and pontooning in ND at Strawberry Lake. She conquered her lifelong fear of flying when her son and daughter-in-law took her on her last out-of-town trip to Las Vegas. Beady loved her house in Riverview and she enjoyed plunking her beautiful flowersinevery Spring and watching them grow. Our Mom was a wonderful, caring, and vivacious wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother (gramma-gramma). Wewatched her strength and faith grow when she lost Dad, the love of her life and went on to battle many health problems herself.Beady would always say: When you think that you have it bad, look around and someone is worse off - and when she found someone in that position, she always tried to help. She was the most giving and caring person, never forgetting a birthday or holiday and making everyone feel like family. We will cherish her memory forever.After a surgery and fall in October 2011 she resided at Park Place nursing home. She passed away April 8th from complications from the fall and Alzheimer's. Beady is survived by: her four children, Vickie (John) Geiger, Tom (Jeanne) Carver, Billie (Tim) Wilkinson and Jami (PJ) Pallotta; 13 grandchildren: Josh, Matt and David Geiger, Ben, Andy and Michelle Carver, Whitney and Wyatt Wilkinson, Brianna, Vince, Chelsey, Nick and Joey Pallotta; and 6 and 1/2 great-grandchildrenShe was preceded in death by her husband Billy; parents Helen and Tom Holman; and three sisters Bernice, Blanche, and Bobbi.
