Bea Hoenjet

Bea H. Hoenjet, 81, of Great Falls, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at her home of natural causes.Bea was born in the Rotterdam, Netherlands on October 7, 1934. When Bea was a young girl, she lived in Holland. During WWII, she met her future husband, Ed Hoenjet in Holland. They were soon married and moved to the United States.Bea first lived in Cut Bank, MT, a big change from what she was accustomed to in the Netherlands. She then had her first son, John. Several years later, Bea moved to Great Falls, MT, which she called home, and had her second son, Rob. She was always watching over her two sons.Bea enjoyed going to Gibson Park to watch the ducks almost every day. She also enjoyed downhill skiing with her husband and sons when she was younger. Bea liked going to open houses and homes being built. She would then implement some of those ideas on her home. She was a great cook. Bea loved being with her family and spending time with her granddaughter, Jennessa, whenever she could.Bea is survived by her husband, Edmond Hoenjet; two sons, John Hoenjet and Rob Hoenjet; and granddaughter Jennessa Hoenjet.No services are being planned, but a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.
