Barry Wells

Barry Wells, age 60, of Great Falls, died suddenly following surgery on March 6, 2017. Barry was born in Covina, CA, but counted Montana as his true home. He retired from the US Air Force after a career as a Nurse and Medic. Barry loved his animals which included 3 llamas, 2 miniature horses, a donkey, chickens and ducks, and many dogs and cats.Barry is survived by his son, Alex Wells; grandson Zander of Missoula, MT; brother Vernon Wells (Nancy) of Independence, OR; and by his longtime companion and husband, Jim Scott of Great Falls.Barry created a loving and safe place for everyone he knew because of his big heart and gentle spirit. He will be greatly missed.To honor Barrys life, donations to the Cascade County Humane Society would be appreciated.
