Audrey Galbreath

Audrey Galbreath, 81, of Great Falls, passed away at Peace Hospice on Monday, April 11, 2016.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Audrey was born on July 10, 1934 in Birmingham, Great Britain to Herbert and Arlette (Boucher) Richards. She was educated in Birmingham. She worked as an IBM operator until she met her future husband, Thomas Galbreath where he was stationed. They were married on October 5, 1957. They made their home for 2 more years in England before moving to New Hampshire. They lived in various places while Tom was in the military and came to Great Falls in July 1977. Audrey worked for Buttreys, in the business office and then at Fabricland, which she retired from.She was active in the Quilt Guild. Audrey and Tom loved to take long rides in the countryside looking at the wildlife.Audrey is survived by her husband, Tom Galbreath; son Kevin Galbreath; daughter Laurie Coleman and husband Mark; grandchildren Megan Coleman, and Matthew, Jessica and Sarah Galbreath; and two great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her son, Darren Galbreath.
