Arne, 78, passed away at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, on April 24, 2015, surrounded by his wife and family.Arne was born on October 22, 1936, in Colfax, Washington, to MaeBelle and Lawrence Faerber. After his father died in 1938, his mother married William Fulbright, who adopted Arne and his twin brother, Don. He grew up in Kalispell, Montana, and joined the Navy at age seventeen, where he served from 1954 until 1957 aboard the submarine USS Raton as a torpedo man.Arne married Janette Andersen on May 7, 1964, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and they had four children.Arne was a lifelong Catholic and a member of the Third and Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. He was a life member of the VFW and the Montana Submarine Base. Arne sold Snap-On Tools for twenty-five years and finally got to raise cows and hay after retiring.He is survived by his loving wife Janette; children Jim (Jennifer) Fulbright of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Julie (Alan) Scanlon of Great Falls, Zane (Janelle) Fulbright of Lewistown, and Dawn (Emery) Giskaas of Great Falls; grandchildren Justin Santy, Tyler (Alex) Santy, Nathan Fulbright, Greg Fulbright, Taylor Santy, Sam Fulbright, Ellie Fulbright and Maggie Fulbright; twin brother Don (Winona) Fulbright; and dog Bailey.Arne was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sisterA vigil service will be held at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Anns Catholic Church on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. followed by burial at Manchester Cemetery.
