Arley "Mac" Wiseman

Arley Mac McDowel Wiseman, 91, of Great Falls, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017.Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Schnider Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Choteau Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be announced this summer.Mac was born on August 19, 1925 in Choteau, Montana to Glen and Verlina (Zeigler) Wiseman, Sr. He attended school in Choteau and went on to receive a Bachelors degree in chemistry at MSU Bozeman. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Mac worked as a materials supervisor for the MT State Highway Department. He married Mary Swanson on September 21, 1947. Mary passed away on February 23, 2010.Mac is survived by his daughter, Sandra Arrotta (Chuck Thompson); sister Dorothy Skelton; granddaughter Nikole Arrotta; great-grandchildren Megan, Joshua and Bryson Sadowsky; and brother-in-law Dick Bandow.He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mary; sisters Mary Gray, Margery McFarlane, Elgene Bandow, and Pauline Miller; and brother Glen Buster Wiseman Jr.
