Aralio P. Roy Tabaracci, 85, of Great Falls, a retired car foreman with Burlington Northern Railroad and an Army veteran, died of natural causes, Friday, December 14, 2012, at a local care facility.A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Committal will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery with military honors. A reception will follow services at Schnider Funeral Home.Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Aralio P. Roy Tabaracci was born in Stockett, Montana on April 12, 1927 to Carlo and Minnie Tabaracci. He was raised in Stockett and as a teenager the family moved to Black Eagle. He worked at various jobs before entering the Army from 1952 to 1954 and stationed in California. He returned to Great Falls and worked as a mechanic at City Motors, John Deere, and Montgomery Wards and was later promoted to service manager for each of the businesses. He then went to work for Great Northern which later became Burlington Northern Railroad where he finished his career with the railroad in the early 1980s.He married Katherine Helen Maurantonio on July 12, 1958 at St. Anns Cathedral.Aralio was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. His interests were cooking Italian food, music, antique automobiles, stock car racing, Westerns and War movies, and watching the History Channel.He issurvived byhis son Steve (Toni) Tabaracci of Great Falls;adaughter Gina Tabaracci of Great Falls; sisters Violet Tabaracci ofGreat Falls, Marian Obstarof Plentywood, MT; and his grandchildren Ethan and Anthony Germann, Katie and Alissa Tabaracci.He was preceded in death by his wife Katherine; his parents; and a brother Robert.
