Antoinette "Toni" Kind

Antoinette Toni Mary (Horan) Kind, 70, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 from natural causes in Great Falls.A reception to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Black Eagle Community Center. Burial will take place at a later date in Butte, MT.Toni was born September 26, 1946 in Butte, MT and was raised in Helena, MT. She received her diploma from Cathedral High School in 1964. She obtained an associates degree from Northern Montana College.Toni moved to Great Falls where she met and married Jerry Kind in 1969. Together they had 3 children. Toni worked various jobs and enjoyed all her coworkers and especially remembered her time at Blue Cross Blue Shield fondly. She moved with her family to Fort Benton in 1981 and worked at Missouri River Medical Center where she held several positions until she retired. She moved back to Great Falls in 2001 and worked at the City County Health Department for several years.Toni enjoyed bowling, dancing, and helping people. She touched the lives of many throughout her years. She always did her best to help those in need, especially around the holidays. She had a strong Catholic faith and was active in her parish, most recently Holy Spirit.Toni would consider her three children as her greatest achievement. She dedicated her life to raising them and was very proud of their accomplishments. She was a loving mother who worked hard and sacrificed much while raising them.Toni is survived by her son, Jerry (Kalli) Kind of Helena; daughters Jennifer (Josh) Schlotter of Ulm and Julie (Brandon) Neuman of Great Falls; grandchildren Ava and Ella Kind, Brandon and Ashtyn Schlotter, and Quinci, Kinlie and Kamri Neuman; and her cousin, Karen (Larry) Pepin of Great Falls.She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynott Charlie and Pierre Horan, and cousin Ron Cardenzana.Memorials may be made in her name to the Great Falls Rescue Mission.
