Annona Dorill (Lauffer) Larkin, 71, a bookkeeper of Great Falls, died of breast cancer on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at her home.A memorial service will be held at Hillcrest Lawn Chapel on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.Annona was born on June 14, 1940 in Choteau, Montana and raised in Valier.She graduated from Valier High School in 1958 and attended Montana State University.In 1963, Annona married Jim Larkin in Great Falls.The majority of Annonas working years were spent at various businesses as a bookkeeper.Annona was a member of the Rainbow Girls.She enjoyed crocheting, reading, bowling and traveling.Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Jim Larkin; daughters Patti (Joe) Levesey and Janice (Curt) Lorang all of Great Falls; a brother, Butch (Kathy) Lauffer of Joliet;sisters, Judy (Cole) Windle of Helena and Sue Craft of Mesa, AZ; and grandchildren Matt Levesey, Marc Levesey, James Levesey, Michael Lorang, Joel Lorang and Kaileen Lorang.She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.Memorials are suggested to Peace Hospice,1101 26th St. S., Great Falls, MT 59405or Great Falls Rescue Mission,326 2nd Ave. S., Great Falls, MT 59405.
