Anna Lee Hartman

Mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, Anna Lee Hartman, 76, passed away suddenly but peacefully on March 18, 2021. Born September 27, 1944, in Fort Benton, MT. She resided in Fort Benton before moving to Great Falls. She was immensely proud of her Montana roots. Anna attended Weber College where she earned her childcare certification of which she was extremely proud. Anna loved to take drives anywhere she could, be it a small road trip or a longer vacation. She adored the trips she took to Glacier Park, always seeing something new every visit. She was quick to hug anyone who needed it and loved her family dearly. She treasured books and music. You would rarely find her without a book in her hands with her music in the background. She spent hours working in her yard and hanging out on her front porch which was her favorite place to view her beautiful yard. She loved attending her Harvest Springs Community Church and had made many friends there. Anna was preceded in death by parents, Alma (Peggy) and Virgil Hartman; sister, Dian Baumgartner; daughter, Theresa Pelton; and son, Justin Pelton. Left to celebrate her life are her children, Donna Pelton, Virgil Pelton, Penny Pelton, Missy Pelton; four grandchildren, Chris Pelton, Tiffany Johnson, Hailey and Makayla Jones; sisters, Wanda Klotz, Glenda Hartman; and a host of other special family and friends. The cremation has taken place, and there will be a celebration of Anna’s life to be scheduled at a later date when her family and friends can come together. Fly high Anna, we love you and miss you until we see you again one day.
