Angeline (Skinner) Lopez, 86, of Great Falls, a loving wife and mother, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012 of natural causes at her home.Upon her relocation, Angeline requested to be cremated.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel.Angeline (Skinner) Lopez was born on February 14, 1926 in Dunseith, North Dakota to John and Nellie Skinner.She was raised in North Dakota and at Rocky Boy, MT.She attended Business College and received a degree from Los Cruses in New Mexico.She worked as a welding inspector in Washington, a payroll clerk in Virginia, and in a military post exchange in Fort Ord, California.She met and married Joe Lopez on February 29, 1952.They had three daughters, Crucita, Gloria and JoAnne.Angeline loved to travel, taking rides with her husband and children.She especially enjoyed the outdoors, having picnics and attending Pow Wows.She was an excellent sewer and made the Native American outfits for her children and grandchildren.Angeline is survived by her husband, Joe Lopez, Jr. of Great Falls; her daughters, Crucita (Roger) Lopez-Carrier and JoAnne (Mark) Byron both of Great Falls; a sister, Betty Martinez of Watsonville, CA; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a special family friend, Mary Jolley.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gloria Lopez; and granddaughter, Tina Irene Mendiola.Memorials are suggested to Disabled Veterans, C/O VA Regional Office, 3633 Veterans Drive, Fort Harrison, MT 59636 or the Humane Society of Cascade County, P.O.
