The funeral service will be Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery.Angela Kay (Swartz) Vohs, known to her friends as Ange, was born June 25, 1982 in Great Falls. She lived her childhood out on the family ranch near Stockett. She survived being bitten by a rattlesnake in the ranch yard at the age of 3. When she was 5, she was involved in a farming accident when a hay bale her dad was handling, fell off a trailer onto her head. Her upper leg was broken in two places and she spent the next two months in abody cast. She was easily encouraged to try new things by her brother, Travis. Driving the ranch pickup without permission was one of them. This resulted in running the pickup into the side of the haystack, something Travis threatened to tell the parents of if she was going to snitch on him for something. He got a lot of mileage out of that. He also convinced her she was adopted. She found out in her early 20s that also was not true. Even though they didnt always see eye to eye they had a strong brother/sister bond. She was a member of the Tri-City Challengers 4-H Club in her teens and thoroughly enjoyed her rabbit and horse projects. She loved all animals growing up on the ranch. In her junior year, she got to take her first plane ride to Washington, D.C. with Centerville Close-Up. She was baptized into Holy Trinity Catholic Church as a child.Angela graduated from Centerville High School in 2001. She married Gary Lindner in 2004. This union was blessed with two beautiful girls, Keeanna and Kaylee. Angela and Gary later divorced. She spent a few quarters going to UGF. Angela had various jobs around Great Falls, and while working for Walmart she met and fell in love with Mike Vohs. They were joined in marriage in June 2013. They were blessed with Corbin Michael a short month later.Angela never met anyone that wasnt her friend. Sometimes she would often get hurt by people she thought were her friends. Her kind heart could be a downfall. She had a smile for everyone, anytime. She had hundreds of friends on social media and she would always start her day by saying Good Morning everyone and I hope you have a great day! Her online family will miss her greatly. She was a very talented photographer. She took online classes through the Rocky Mountain School of Photography, which she enjoyed. She was always proud when her pictures were showcased on the local news. She enjoyed entering her photos in the Montana State Fair. She made slideshows for relatives who had recently passed away. She was very good at what she did and was proud of how they turned out.Survivors include husband Mike Vohs of Great Falls; daughters Keeanna and Kaylee; son Corbin, all of Great Falls; parents Jim and Roxanne Swartz of the family ranch near Stockett; brother Travis of Great Falls; nieces Karlie, Tennyson and Alexia Swartz; many aunts, uncles, and cousins too numerous to mention.Angela was preceded in death by grandparents Ed Rutter, Shirley Rutter, and Charlie and Marjorie Swartz; aunt and uncles Mick Swartz of Forest Green; Manny Pejko of Stockett, and Gary and June Swartz of Las Vegas; and cousin Richard Bowers of Alaska.Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of Cascade County or the Angela Vohs Memorial fund for Corbin at Montana Federal Credit Union.
