Andrew Andy Bohl, 82, of Great Falls, passed away on September 6, 2014 at Peace Hospice.A viewing will be held at 9:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service which will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Andrew Andy was born on August 8, 1932 in Rugby, North Dakota to Xavier and Magdalena Bohl. He was raised and educated in North Dakota. Andy married Mildred Bickler in 1952 in Orrin, ND. He worked for 22 years as a crane operator at Anaconda Company and was the President of the Steelworkers Union in Great Falls.He was a relentless tinkerer, outdoorsman and hard worker. He was a longtime member of the Eagles and Skunkwagon car club.Andy is survived by his wife, Mildred Bohl of Great Falls; children Terry (June) Bohl of San Antonio, TX, Brenda Mentzer of Mesa, AZ (Mike of Tucson, AZ), Tim Bohl, Sheryl (Dewey) Schmidt, and Andy (Kris) Bohl all of Great Falls; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; sons Kenny and Rodney Bohl; and one great-grandson.In lieu of flowers, memorials in Andys name may be made to Peace Hospice, 1101 26th St. S., Great Falls, MT 59405.
