Andrew "Andy" Kakalecik

Andrew Andy Kakalecik, 91, of Great Falls, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Peace Hospice with his wife and family at his side.Services will be held at a later date. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Andy was born on August 22, 1922 in Tracy, Montana to Joseph and Mary Kakalecik.He attended schools at Centerville. He worked for Carpenter Paper Company prior to entering the Army during WWII. Following his discharge in 1946, he worked in Washington, DC before returning to Great Falls.Andy worked for 30 years for Buttrey Foods.Andy married Margaret Tempel in Great Falls on July 7, 1962.He volunteered at Benefis Skilled Nursing Center, Park Place, St. Josephs Catholic Church, and the Legion of Mary.Andy is survived by his wife, Margaret Kakalecik of Great Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; and eight siblings.Memorials in Andys name may be made to Peace Hospice, 1101 26th St S, Great Falls, MT 59405.
