Al Strending, 80, passed away Tuesday August 20th, 2013 at Peace Hospice of Montana. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Edith Rossman Strending, who died on March 7th, 2003.A memorial service is planned at the New Apostolic Church at 4421 7th Av N. on Saturday, August 31st at 2 pm.Al served his country for four years as a member of the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. As a civilian, he spent more than 40 years as a plumbing salesman and estimator, retiring in 2003. Al was also a lay minister for the New Apostolic Church, serving congregations in Great Falls, Idaho Falls, and Belgrade. Albert loved sports, primarily football. He was a huge Notre Dame fan and started a three generation (and counting) fascination with the Green Bay Packers.He is survived by two sons, Ross and Todd, their wives, Dee and Monica, and five grandchildren: Kristopher, Jessica (Christopher John Hunt), Karissa, Shaun, and Kayla.He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Edith Rossman Strending, who died on March 7th, 2003.
