Aileen Carmines

Aileen Carmines, 98, of Great Falls passed away August, 15, 2018 at Peace Hospice. A funeral service with burial will be held at First Church of Nazarene on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Burial to follow at Highland Cemetery.Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Aileen Wright Carmines was born November 18, 1919 in Spencer, North Carolina to Rossie and Birdie Evans Wright. She enjoyed sewing in her younger days. She made decorations for Benefis lab, loved her dogs, enjoyed singing but didn’t like music. Tinkering on the piano, but never played. The only thing she could play was Dixie. Teaching Sunday school, Caravan program at First Church of Nazarene. She loved teaching the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Birdie Lauver and Ann Schol; grandchildren Chuck Lauver, Ginny Gleason, Teresa Young, Bill Lauver, Jeff Lauver, Bobby Lauver, Tammy Waddell, Angela Beacham and Russell Lauver. Great-grandchildren Stacey Gleason, Emily Funkhauser, Abby McDowell, Aaron Gleason, Allison Gleason, Amy Lauver, Kenneth Lauver, Liz Lauver, Keeghan, Lauver, Paxton Lauver, MadisonLauver, McKenzie Lauver, Houston Waddell, Peyton Lauver, Charlie Lauver, Landon Lauver, and Andrew Lauver; great-great grandchildren Eli McDowell, Helen Gleason, and Sam McDowell.
