Adolph Mario Peressini, 94, of Great Falls, a retired business owner and mechanic, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012 of natural causes at a local care facility.A funeral service will be held at First English Evangelical Lutheran Church on May 30, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Adolph Mario Peressini was born on January 22, 1918 to Guisseppe and Selene Peressini in Great Falls, Montana.He graduated from Great Falls High School in 1936. He married Ethyl Mans in Fort Benton in 1942.Ethyl passed away in October of 1963.Adolph then married Beverly Jean Buehler in 1979. Adolph began as an apprentice mechanic at Swains Spring Service at the age of 16.He later became co-owner of Swains until he retired at the age of 72.Adolph was an active participant in the Democratic party and the Machinists Labor Union.He enjoyed traveling, attending local theater productions and concerts, spending time with family, and long goodbyes.He loved his apple trees, Holter Lake, photography/videography and could fix anything.Aldoph enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and was a life-long learner.Adolph is survived by his wife, Beverly Jean Peressini of Great Falls; daughters Marilynn Peressini Carlson of Stillwater, Minnesota, and Vickie Peressini (Jon) Reif of Kelso, Washington; step-daughter Bernadette (Steve) Bankhead of Great Falls; step-son Russell (Gina) Buehler of Klamath Falls, Oregon; grandchildren Casey (Kathy) Carlson, Corey (Mary Alice) Carlson both of Woodbury, Minnesota, Kevin Reif of Vancouver, Washington, Charles (Rachel) Reif of Indianapolis, Indiana, Michelle (Steve) Harper of Bellevue, Washington, Eric Faris of Tacoma, Washington, and Ben (Alexis) Buehler of Vancouver, Washington; and seven great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, Guisseppe and Selene Peressini; brothers Reno and Gino Peressini; sisters Gemma Froehlich and Esther Thompson; wife Ethyl Peressini; good friends Vernell Dinky Dimszoff, and Bob and Alice Swain; brother-in-law Earl Thompson; and sister-in-law Violet Peressini.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Adolphs name to First English Evangelical Lutheran Church, 726 2nd Ave. No., Great Falls, MT 59401 or to the Salvation Army, 1000 17th Ave. So., Great Falls, MT 59405.Condolences may be left for the family at www.schniderfuneralhome.com.
