It was such a shock to hear about the loss of Jon. He was a great friend and teammate of mine all through high school and college. We had a lot of good times together both on and off the field. He was always the life of the party and extremely funny. He was one of the best football players I have ever seen. I have firsthand knowledge of how tough of a competitor he was since I had to block him all through high school and college. His strength and quickness were outstanding, but they were nothing compared to his football IQ. He just had a “nose for the football”. Jon provided me with so many good memories, including our great high school state championship together. I was able to hang out with him three years ago and it was like we were back in school again. I cherish and thank you Jon for all of those wonderful times together and will miss you greatly. “GO BISON!”, “GO CATS!”

Joyce, Josh, Joe and family,

I was saddened and shocked to hear of Jon's passing. He was like a big brother to all of us from the Class of 1986 and to me in particular. Jon always had a smile on his face and had a great sense of humor. I last saw him when he was working for his older brother Joe at the Great Falls airport in 2013. I lost both of my parents this year (dad on 4/12/17 and mom on 6/29/17) and I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for the memories, Jon. Rest in peace "big brother".
